An early case of de novo membranous nephropathy in a renal transplant patient.

چکیده
SECOND to chronic allograft dysfunction, membranous nephropathy (MN) is the most frequent cause of nephrotic syndrome in renal transplantation. This pathology can be caused by recurrence of the primary renal disease, the development of de novo glomerulopathy, or by a transplanted glomerular disease (present but unrecognized in the donor). De novo MN was first described more than 25 years ago 3 and is the most common de novo disease after engraftment. It has an incidence of 2 to 9% in most series, with the highest rates being reported by centres who perform routine graft biopsies, De novo disease tends to present later than the recurrent forms, and typically occurs 2 years post transplantation, although cases have been described at 4 months.

De Novo Fibrillary Glomerulonephritis (FGN) in a Renal Transplant with Chronic Hepatitis C
Chronic hepatitis C viremia (HepC) has been associated with numerous renal manifestations both in native kidneys and in the setting of renal transplantation. Glomerulonephritis (GN) of the renal allograft in the setting of HepC most commonly manifests as type 1 membranoproliferative GN (MPGN), either representing recurrence of the original disease or arising de novo. Other GNs were reported aft...
متن کاملA complex microdeletion 17q12 phenotype in a patient with recurrent de novo membranous nephropathy
BACKGROUND Microdeletions on chromosome 17q12 cause of diverse spectrum of disorders and have only recently been identified as a rare cause of Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuester-Hauser-Syndrome (MRKH), which is characterized by uterus aplasia ± partial/complete vaginal aplasia in females with a regular karyotype. For the first time we report about a patient with a 17q12 microdeletion who is affected by M...
متن کاملDe novo postallogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant membranous nephropathy.
We report membranous nephropathy in a 61-year-old man after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant without chronic graft-versus-host disease. A diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia was made, and the patient received hematopoietic stem cell transplants, twice, from different donors. The first donor was his brother and the second donor was an unrelated man. Human leukocyte antigens between...
متن کاملOutcomes of de novo allograft diabetic nephropathy in renal allograft recipients.
OBJECTIVES Despite increased use of diabetogenic immunosuppressive drugs and increased incidence of new-onset diabetes after transplant in renal allograft recipients, there are few case studies on the subject of de novo allograft diabetic nephropathy and interstitial fibrosis/tubular atrophy without specific glomerular changes. We sought to study the outcomes of allograft diabetic nephropathy a...
